The Croton Yacht Club is a working club. We haul or own boats, maintain the docks, breakwater, building, grounds, etc. Although we are a private club and not a part of the Village Parks and Recreation department, we acknowledge our relationship with the village. To become a working member of the Croton Yacht Club, you must be a Village Resident.
There is a one-time initiation fee and annual dues. Each member is required to fulfill 35 hours of fall work time and 35 hours of spring work time. Failure to complete these hours results per-hour penalties. In return, working members pay a reduced rate for summer mooring and winter haul & storage. Working members have voting rights, are given full access to the club-house and are allowed to rent the club-house at a reduced rate.
For those who cannot or do not choose to become a regular member, we offer associate memberships. After completing an application, and if we have room, you can rent a slip for the current rates. For more information, please stop by the Yacht Club and speak to an officer.
